Installing > < Removing and installing the hydraulic cylinder

  WARNING
The hydraulic system is sensitive to any kind of contamination.
As soon as the system is opened, the relevant components must be covered to prevent contaminants entering the hydraulic system.
–  Undo the tommy screw on the hydraulic pump so that any residual pressure in the system can dissipate, and then tighten it again.
–  Remove side trim → Chapter.
   
–  To push out the retaining bolt -1-, first lever up the circlip -2-.
–  Pull the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder -3- off the top frame.
–  Mark the hydraulic hoses -4-, unscrew them from the hydraulic cylinder (union nut, 15 Nm) and cover the connection points.
–  Unscrew hexagon bolts with washers -5- from the hydraulic cylinder retainer (8 Nm).
