| – | Remove backrest → Chapter. |
| – | Lever out clips, bend up fasteners, detach tension wire, lever reinforced cover out of seat frame to the rear, detach upholstery wires from padding. |
| 2 - | Upholstery wire |
| q | Attached into padding; attach and detach using awl -V.A.G 1636-. |
| q | Standard seat: transverse upholstery wire is at front. |
| q | Sport seat: transverse upholstery wire is at rear. |

| q | First fasten cover with clips, then attach to fasteners, pull tension wire tight and attach. |
