During testing and assembly work, faults such as unplugged connectors, for example, can also be detected from other control units. Therefore you must interrogate and erase the fault memories of all control units when you are finished. To do so: |

| Press the 0 key twice for the address word and “Automatic test sequence” and confirm the entry with the Q key. The fault reader -V.A.G 1551- transmits all known address words one after the other. |
If a control unit responds with its identification, the display will show the number of stored faults or “no fault recognised”. |
Any stored faults for a system will be displayed and printed out one after the other. The fault reader -V.A.G 1551- then transmits the next address word. |
