Checking and topping up ATF level

  • ‒ Place container under the gearbox.
  • ‒ → Remove ATF level plug from oil pan (arrow).
  • ‒ Remove overflow pipe through the level hole.
  • ‒ Drain ATF.
  • ‒ Install overflow pipe.
  • ‒ Screw level plug in hand-tight.
  • ‒ Fill with 3 ltrs. of ATF through filler pipe using V.A.G 1924.
  • ‒ Then start engine and shift through all the selector lever positions with the vehicle stationary.
  • ‒ Check and top up ATF level =>Page 37-55 .
