| Too much ATF leads to malfunctions and must therefore be extracted. ATF can be extracted from torque converter by using probe -V.A.G 1358 A/1- and extracting unit -V.A.G 1358A-. |

| Only ATF with the designation Dexron may be used. Do not use additional lubricants. |

| Use a funnel to add ATF. For a new filling, first add about 3 l. |

| Then start engine and shift through all selector lever positions with vehicle stationary. |

| Use a lint-free cloth to wipe off the dipstick. |
| The ATF level is affected by the ATF temperature. The Min. and Max. marks on the ATF dipstick apply to an ATF temperature of 60° C. |
