| The wiring can be checked from connector of the multi-pin connection according to current flow diagram with test box -V.A.G 1598-. |

| Switch off ignition, pull multi-pin connector of automatic gearbox control unit -J217- and connect test box -V.A.G 1598- using adapter -V.A.G 1598/9-. |
