t  The solenoid valves can be checked during a road test in measured value block 08; display group number 04.
t  The table shows which solenoid valves among solenoid valve 1 -N88-, solenoid valve 2 -N89-, -N90- and solenoid valve 4 -N91- are actuated in each selector lever position. These solenoid valves control the shifting valves for the respective gears.
t  The solenoid valve 5 -N92- and the solenoid valve 7 -N94- are supplementary valves which affect smoothness of gear shifts and are actuated only during gear shifts and displayed in fields 5 and 6. They can show 0 or 1 depending on the driving situation.
t  The display on fault reader -V.A.G 1551- in display field 1 has 6 digits (0000 00).

t  “0” indicates that a solenoid valve is not actuated, and “1” indicates that it is.
