Removing and installing radiator and fan > < Without cooling system charge unit VAS 6096

With or without cooling system charge unitVAS 6096
With or without cooling system charge unit -VAS 6096-
–  Close expansion tank cap.
–  Run engine until radiator fan cuts in.
  WARNING
Steam may be released when cap is removed from expansion tank. Cover cap with a cloth and open carefully.
–  Check coolant level and top-up if necessary. When the engine is at normal operating temperature, the coolant level must be on the max. mark and between the min. and max. marks when the engine is cold.
