‒ →
Remove ignition cable ducts -1- and -2-.
-
‒ Pull crankcase breather valve off cylinder head cover and breather hose to activated charcoal filter solenoid valve 1 off intake manifold upper part.
-
‒ Remove intake hose from air mass meter to throttle valve housing or to throttle valve control part.
-
‒ Pull connectors off throttle valve potentiometer or throttle valve control part, heater element, idling stabilization valve and intake manifold temperature sender.
-
‒ Detach accelerator cable at throttle valve housing or throttle valve control part and support bracket (do not remove retainer).
-
‒ Open and close the expansion tank cap, to release cooling system pressure.
-
‒ Pull coolant hoses off throttle valve housing and clamp the hose ends.
-
‒ Pull vacuum hose off fuel pressure regulator and brake servo.
-
‒ Unscrew intake manifold support to cylinder head.
-
‒ Now unscrew intake manifold upper part from intake manifold lower part and remove.
Note:
Seal the intake channels in the intake manifold lower part and/or in cylinder head with clean cloths.
