Notes:

• ◆ Battery terminals must no longer be greased.
• ◆ The tightening torque for the battery clamp is 5 Nm.
• ◆ If the vehicle has a security-coded radio, obtain the correct anti-theft code number before disconnecting the battery.
• ◆ When the battery is reconnected, check operation of electrical equipment (radio, clock and electric window lifters) according to Workshop Manual or Owner's Manual.
