Installing
The surface of the piston and seal must be cleaned only with methylated spirits and then dried.
–
Coat piston and seal thinly with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before inserting.

Place protective seal with outer sealing lip on piston.

Insert inner sealing lip into groove in cylinder using wedge 3409.
When doing this, hold piston in front of brake caliper.

Screw piston into housing by turning knurled wheel clockwise.

To aid screwing in, use special tool 3272/1.
–
Insert brake pads.
