Installing > < Removing and installing controls for fresh and heated air

Removing
–  Remove glove box → Rep. Gr.68.
–  Remove trim underneath steering column → Rep. Gr.68.
–  Remove centre console → Rep. Gr.68.
   
–  Use front-end hook -VAS 3370- to pull trim off heater controls -in direction of arrow-.

–  Remove bolts -arrows- from instrument panel.
–  Remove centre trim panel.
–  Pull controls with cables attached out of dash panel.
–  Release cables on controls.
–  Pull off connectors.
As soon as controls have been removed, check function of heated air and fresh air cables.

–  Do this by moving wire ends of cables back and forth in -direction of arrow-.
–  Replace damaged or stiff cables.
