–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Pull off chain guard. Release retaining tabs if necessary through openings -arrows- using a small screwdriver.

–  Loosen oil pump sprocket bolt.

–  Release tension on tensioning plate using a screwdriver -arrow- and lock using a 3 mm hexagon key -1-.

–  Remove oil pump sprocket and remove chain from balancer shaft drive.

–  Loosen balancer shaft gear assembly bolts from inside outwards and remove it. Dismantling and assembling oil pump and balancer shaft gear assembly → Chapter.
