| Hand reamer and cutting fluid |

| Clean and check cylinder head. Cylinder heads in which the valve seats can no longer be reworked, or cylinder heads which have already been machined to the minimum dimension, should not have the valve guides replaced. |

| Press out worn valve guides with drift -3121- from camshaft side (repair type valve guides with shoulder from combustion chamber side). |

| Press in new guides, moistened with oil, from camshaft side up to shoulder into cold cylinder head using drift -3121-. |
Note | When the shoulder on the guide makes contact, the pressure must not exceed 1.0 t, otherwise shoulder may break off. |

| Ream valve guide with hand reamer. Use plenty of cutting fluid. |
