Function
The cooling system of this engine is controlled by the engine control unit map.
Load dependant default specified temperatures, thermal control of the coolant temperature and regulation of the radiator fan speeds are the main characteristics of this new system.
A higher engine temperature in part load range results in the following advantages:
t  Reduced fuel consumption in part load.
t  Reduction of CO and HC emissions.
