t  7 mm reamer -3120- and cutting fluid
Removing
–  Clean and check cylinder head. Cylinder heads, in which valve seats can no longer be reworked, or cylinder heads which have already been machined to the minimum dimension (height) → Item or which already have Service Department type valve guides fitted, are not suitable for replacement of valve guides.

–  Press out worn valve guides with drift -3121- from camshaft side.
Installing
–  Coat new guides with oil and press in with drift -3121- from camshaft side (cylinder head cold) until shoulder makes contact. When doing this, cylinder head must be laying flat.
  Note
Once guide makes makes contact with shoulder, installation pressure must not exceed 1.0 t, otherwise shoulder may break off.
–  Ream valve guide with 7 mm reamer -3120-. Use plenty of cutting fluid.
–  Reworking valve seats → Chapter.
