Removing and installing hydraulic bonded rubber bush > < Installing right bonded rubber bush

–  Grease the kidney-shaped cavities on the bonded rubber bush with assembly paste -G 052 150 A2- before installing rear axle.
If the rear axle is installed “dry”, noises may develop when the vehicle is driven.
The mounting bracket must be bolted to the rear axle only when springs are compressed.
Otherwise, the bush would be strained and its service life shortened.
  WARNING
t  Do not raise or lower vehicle when engine and gearbox jack -V.A.G 1383 A- is under vehicle.
t  Do not leave engine and gearbox jack -V.A.G 1383 A- under vehicle longer than necessary.
–  Bolt mounting bracket to rear axle with specified torque.
   
–  Renew clip -arrow C-.
Further installation in reverse order.
–  Bleed brake system → Brake systems; Rep. Gr.47.
