Adjusting camber on rear axle, vehicles with four-wheel drive
The camber cannot be adjusted on vehicles prior to model year 2003.
If values exceed the tolerances, the vehicle's transverse inclination must be checked and corrected if necessary → Chapter.
If the measured values exceed the permitted tolerances, check the axle beam for damage and renew if necessary.
The camber can be adjusted as of model year 2003. The transverse link is now fitted with a slot which can be used to adjust the camber marginally.
If slotted transverse links are fitted in vehicles prior to model year 2003, the camber can also be adjusted in these.

–  Remove bolts -1- and -2- for transverse link.
3 - Upper transverse link
4 - Lower transverse link
5 - Trailing arm
–  Press the wheel inwards or outwards to attain the specification.
–  Tighten connection between transverse link and trailing arm to 70 Nm.
–  Check camber and repeat adjustment if necessary.
–  If adjustment is OK, tighten connection between transverse link and trailing arm an additional 90°.
