  Caution
Bolt of eccentric pin -10- should not be loosened under any circumstances on vehicles up to 01.2004. It cannot be tightened again using normal workshop tools.
  Note
t  The right side is shown. The left side is similar.
t  The hinge bolts must always be renewed if loosened.
t  Hinges are now one piece.
t  The specified torque for the hinge bolts to the door (bolts -4, 6 and 14-) has been revised.
1 - Door
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Adjusting → Chapter
2 - Guide bolt
q   10 Nm
3 - Door hinge with arrester
4 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   50 Nm
q   Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being undone
5 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   Installed from inside the vehicle
q   Remove lower A-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn further (90°).
q   Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being undone
6 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   50 Nm
q   Bolts must always be renewed after being loosened
7 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn further (90°).
q   Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being undone
8 - Guide bolts
q   10 Nm
9 - Adjustment ring
q   Restricts the adjustment range for the eccentric pin
10 - Bolt
q   For eccentric pin
q   28 Nm
11 - Door hinge
q   Door hinge no longer comprises of more than one part
12 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn further (90°).
q   Bolts must always be renewed after being loosened
13 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn further (90°).
q   Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being undone
14 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   50 Nm
q   Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being undone
15 - Eccentric pin
q   Eccentric pin is used to adjust gap on vehicles as of 02.2004
