Removing headlight
Removing and installing headlight GT, GTI and R32 → Chapter.
  Note
t  There is no requirement to disconnect the battery earth strap.
t  The front bumper cover need not be removed to remove the headlights.
t  The illustrations show removal and installation of the left headlight.
t  If a headlight is removed, it should always be adjusted following installation → Booklet38.
t  If a headlight with gas discharge bulbs is removed, the basic setting of the headlight should always be checked when reinstalling → Booklet38.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Release multi-pin connector -arrow- and disconnect.
–  Remove radiator grille → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66
–  Remove front left protective strip → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.63.

–  Remove securing bolt -arrow- from bottom left of headlight.

–  Remove securing bolt -arrow- from bottom right of headlight.
