Removing and installing tail light in side panel
Removing and installing tail light in side panel
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Push side panel trim -1- in -direction of arrow- to one side.

–  Release connector -2- by pushing retaining clip -1- in direction of -arrow-.
  N94-10158
–  Unscrew securing nuts -1- from tail light in lower part of side panel.
–  Remove tail light.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following:
  N94-10159
–  Tighten securing nuts -1- to specified torque → Chapter.
  Note
Tail light connector in side panel must be „heard“ to engage when reconnecting.
–  When installation is complete, check gap/shut lines of tail light to body.
–  On vehicles from November 2005, adjust flushness to bumper cover if necessary → Chapter.
–  On vehicles before November 2005, flushness to bumper cover cannot be adjusted.
