  Note
t  Vehicle must be on the ground when adjusting bonnet.
t  The adjustment buffers -2- on the left and right are not a means of adjustment. Their purpose is to stabilise and dampen the bonnet -1-.
t  The bonnet is adjusted correctly if the gaps/shut lines are even all around, the door is not too deep or does not protrude and all contours align when the is door closed.
t  The bonnet must engage into the bonnet lock without excessive force.
t  Hexagon nuts are not removed, only loosened.
–  Remove striker pin -3- → Chapter
–  Bonnet can be centred between wings by loosening (not removing) hexagon nuts -5- on left and right of bonnet hinge -6-.
–  Ensure that gaps are uniform → Rep. gr.00.
–  On completion of adjustment work, anti-corrosion measures must be performed on hinge -6- and bolts -5-.
–  Turn adjusting buffer -2- to adjust -arrow-.
–  After adjusting bonnet, reinstall and adjust striker pin -3- → Chapter.
–  Front part of bonnet can be adjusted in height to wings by means of bonnet lock → Chapter
