Removing and installing side airbag crash sensor on front passenger sideG180 (Golf 2009 ►)
Removing and installing side airbag crash sensor on front passenger side -G180- (Golf 2009 ►)
  Note
The side airbag crash sensor on front passenger side -G180- is installed on the front door assembly carrier.
  WARNING
Observe the general safety regulations when working on airbag, belt tensioner and battery isolator units (pyrotechnic components) → Chapter
–  Disconnect vehicle battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove front door trim:
t  Vehicles with 2 doors: → Chapter
t  Vehicles with 4 doors: → Chapter
Removal and installation of the side-airbag crash sensor, front passenger side -G180- is similar to removal and installation of the side-airbag crash sensor, driver side -G179- and the same instructions can therefore be applied as appropriate:
