| – | Fold back floor covering in area of backrest centre mounting -4-. |
| – | Remove trim -1- from backrest centre mounting. |
| – | Remove bolt -2- (9 Nm). |
| – | Release clamp -3- from backrest centre mounting. |
| – | Lift right-hand backrest -5- out of backrest centre mounting and pull backrest off pin -6-. |
| – | Remove bolt -8- (40 Nm) and remove belt buckle -9- from floor. |
| – | Remove right-hand backrest from vehicle. |
| – | Lift left-hand backrest -7- out of backrest centre mounting and pull backrest off pin. |
