Removing
–  Observe general warning instructions for work on high voltage system → Chapter.
  Note
t  Bleed the coolant circuit if it has been opened. Information about bleeding the coolant circuit is available from the E-field service team.
t  If the drive motor is warm, then the cooling system is pressurised. If necessary, release pressure before carrying out repairs.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses using hose clamps to Ø 25 mm -3094-.
   
–  Disconnect connector -1- on heater coolant shut-off valve -N279-.
  WARNING
Danger of scalding injuries.
The cooling system is pressurised. When the engine is warm, the coolant temperature may be above 100 °C.
If necessary, release pressure and reduce temperature before carrying out repairs.
–  Loosen spring-type clips -4- and pull off coolant hose from coolant shutoff valve of heater -N279--2-.
–  Unscrew bolts -3- (8 Nm) and remove coolant shutoff valve of heater -N279--2-.
