q   Renewing → Chapter
3 - Slave cylinder with clutch release bearing
q   Are one unit and can be renewed together only
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Do not wash out bearing; wipe only
q   Renew noisy bearings together with slave cylinder
q   For some slave cylinders, divided supply line → Fig.
q   From approx. 05 11: release bearing with additional plastic washer → Fig., pressure plate adapted → Fig.
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue „ETKA“
4 - Bolt
q   Qty. 3
q   Always renew
q   Without locking fluid 12 Nm (only slave cylinders with metal housing)
q   With locking fluid 15 Nm
q   Carefully tighten diagonally in small steps so that the bolting eyes of the slave cylinder do not break off
5 - O-ring
q   Pull onto line connection
q   Insert with brake fluid
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue „ETKA“

From approx. 05 11: release bearing with additional plastic washer
Identifying feature: grooves -arrow- on the plastic washer.

Only for release bearings with additional plastic washer: diaphragm spring tips of pressure plate (-arrows-), slightly reduced in height
l  Only install modified release bearing and modified pressure plate together.
