Installing intake manifold
Installing intake manifold
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
»Carry out the following work sequence«
l  Specified torque → Chapter
l  Always renew seals.
–  Tighten intake manifold bolts from inside outwards, alternately and diagonally.
–  Install air pipe.
–  Install high-pressure accumulator → Chapter.
  Note
t  An intake manifold without an intake manifold flap -V157- → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA) can also be used as a replacement part.
t  A blanking cap and fastenings are included with the replacement intake manifold → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA).
Also use following procedure
   
If intake manifold with intake manifold flap -V157- was previously installed.
–  Cap off now free connector -3- to intake manifold flap motor -V157- using blanking cap.

–  Attach capped connector to wiring harness with cable ties -arrows-.
–  Secure loose vacuum line with cable tie -arrow-.
