Removing and installing oil supply line for turbocharger
Removing and installing oil supply line for turbocharger
Removing
–  Remove air filter housing → Chapter.
–  Remove charge air pipe → Item.
–  Remove connecting pipe to exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Item.
   
–  Unscrew securing nut -arrow- of vacuum line at rear side of cylinder head.
–  Loosen union nuts on oil filter bracket and turbocharger.

–  Loosen securing bolt -arrow- for retaining clip.
–  Remove oil supply line.
Installing
  Note
The procedure must be adhered to to ensure that the oil supply line is installed tension-free.
–  Start union nuts for oil supply line on connections.
–  Tighten union nut on oil filter bracket hand-tight.
–  Now tighten union nut on turbocharger hand-tight.
–  First tighten union nut on oil filter bracket and then union nut on turbocharger to 22 Nm.
–  Position retaining clip and tighten securing bolt to 10 Nm.
–  Install connecting pipe to exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Item.
–  Install charge air pipe → Item.
–  Install air filter housing → Chapter.
