Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Locking pin -T10060 A-
Removing
–  Remove noise insulation → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
–  Mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt.

–  Swing tensioning element in direction of arrow to remove tension from poly V-belt.
  N15-10398
–  Align holes -arrows- and lock tensioning element in position with locking pin -T10060 A-.
–  Remove poly V-belt.
Installing
–  Install in reverse order.
  Note
t  Ensure, before installing poly V-belt, that all ancillaries (alternator, air conditioner compressor) are secured tightly.
t  When installing poly V-belt, check direction of belt rotation and proper seating of belt in pulleys.

–  Fit poly V-belt on pulleys.

4 - Air conditioner compressor
After completing repair:
–  Start engine and check belt running.
