| Safety precautions when working on fuel supply system |
WARNING | The fuel line is under pressure. |
| Risk of injury to eyes and skin from fuel. |
| Wear eye protection and protective clothing to avoid eye injuries and skin contact. Before loosening hose connections, wrap a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully opening the connection point. |

| To prevent injuries to persons and destruction of the injection and glow plug system, the following must be noted: |

| Always switch off the ignition before connecting or disconnecting electrical wiring of the injection and glow plug system or connecting/disconnecting tester cables. |
| t
| Wash the engine only with the ignition switched off. |
| t
| Entries have been stored in the event memory of the engine control unit if the engine was started after electrical connectors had been disconnected: Read event memory in vehicle self-diagnosis → Vehicle diagnosis tester. |
