1 - Knock sensor 1 -G61-
q   Contacts gold plated.
2 - 20 Nm
q   The torque setting influences the function of the knock sensor.
3 - Oil dipstick
q   The oil level must not be above the max. mark!
q   Markings → Fig..
4 - Bracket
q   For ignition transformer.
5 - 10 Nm
6 - 10 Nm
7 - 10 Nm
8 - Bracket
9 - 6 Nm
10 - Oil filter bracket with attachments
q   Engine code BGU → Chapter.
q   Engine codes BSE, BSF, CCSA, CMXA → Chapter
11 - 15 Nm + turn 90° further
12 - Gasket
q   Renew.
13 - 10 Nm
14 - Engine speed sender -G28-
15 - Connection
16 - 15 Nm
17 - O-ring
q   Renew.
18 - Seal
q   Renew.
19 - Thermostat
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Checking: Heat thermostat in water.
q   Opening begins at approx. 85 °C.
q   Fully open at approx. 105°C.
q   Opening lift min. 7 mm.
20 - Cylinder block
q   Removing and installing sealing flange and flywheel → Chapter.
q   Removing and installing crankshaft → Chapter.
q   Dismantling and assembling pistons and conrods → Chapter.
21 - Coolant pipe seal
q   Renew.
