Removing and installing air filter housing (Golf, Golf Plus, Touran, Golf Cabriolet)

Removing

–	Press catches -arrows- and remove cover -1- from intake manifold.

–	Pull intake connecting pipe out of intake air duct.

–	Pull spring-type clip -2- together with intake hose off turbocharger.

–	Pull vacuum hose -1- from air filter housing.

–	Remove securing bolt -2- and pull air filter housing upwards off locating pins -3-.

Installing

Install in reverse order. In the process, note the following:

–	Push air filter housing onto locating pins -3- from above.

–	Tighten securing bolt -2- to 8 Nm.

–	Fit vacuum hose -1- onto air filter connection.
