Removing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lambda probe ring spanner set -3337-
Removing
  W00-0206
–  Remove 3 bolts of underbody cover on right -arrows-.
  N26-10379
–  Separate electrical connection -1- for Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-.
–  Remove push connector from retainer -2- and free wire to Lambda probe.
  A24-0739
–  Unscrew Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130--arrow- using tool from Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-.
Installing
When installing, note the following:

t  When replacing Lambda probe, erase learnt values in engine control unit → vehicle diagnosis tester “Guided fault finding”.
t  New Lambda probes are coated with an assembly paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  If reusing Lambda probe, lubricate threads with high-temperature paste -G 052 112 A3-. Paste must not come into contact with slots on probe body. High-temperature paste → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA).
t  When installing, the Lambda probe cable must always be reattached at the same points to prevent it from coming into contact with the exhaust pipe.
t  Specified torque 55 Nm.
