Checking fuel system for leaks > < Removing and installing activated charcoal filter

Removing and installing fuel system diagnostic pumpV144 (Golf)
Removing and installing fuel system diagnostic pump -V144- (Golf)
Removing:
–  Remove rear right wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
   
–  Detach vacuum line -1-.
–  Disconnect electrical connector -2-.
–  Pull off breather line -3- by pressing release tab.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows-.
–  Detach diagnostic pump with bracket.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
l  The breather line -3- must engage audibly.
–  Install rear right wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
Specified torques: → Chapter
