Removing and installing bonnet contact switchF266
Removing and installing bonnet contact switch -F266-
Bonnet contact switch -F266- is installed in bonnet lock.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical loads, and pull out ignition key.
–  Remove radiator grille → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.63.
–  Remove intake air conduit → Power unit; Rep. gr.24.
   
–  Disengage connector -1- from holder, then release it and pull if off
–  Remove bonnet lock → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.55.
  Note
The Bowden cable can remain connected to the lid lock.

–  Cut any cable ties -2- that are present.
–  Release locking lug -1- and move bonnet contact switch -F266- in elongated holes until it can be removed from bonnet lock.

–  Detach wiring harness of contact switch -1- along its route and pull harness inwards out of guide between fan cowl and lock carrier.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
