| Remove the three securing bolts -arrows-. |
Note | When power output module for headlight is pulled off from headlight housing, electrical connectors are simultaneously disconnected. |

| Pull power output module for headlight-1- at right angles out of headlight housing. |
| Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following: |
Caution | When installing power output module for headlight, ensure that the seal is seated correctly. The ingress of water will lead to permanent damage to the headlight. |

| Tighten securing bolts to torque specified in assembly overview → Chapter. |
Note | The cornering light and headlight range control unit must be recoded if a new output module for headlight -J745- is installed → Chapter. Then subsequently perform the basic setting of headlights → Booklet. |
