Removing and installing tail light (tail light cluster) with light diodes in side panel
Removing and installing tail light (tail light cluster) with light diodes in side panel
  Note
Removal and installation of tail light are carried out on left side of vehicle. Removal and installation of right tail light are carried out in the same way.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Open side panel trim -1- in direction of -arrow-.

–  Release and disconnect connector -1-.
–  Remove securing bolts -2- and take tail light in side panel backwards out out body aperture.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following:

When installing tail light into body aperture, ensure that tail light is inserted correctly into upper -1- and lower -2- guides.
–  Tighten securing bolts of tail light by hand onto stop (max. 2:5 Nm) and insert connector until it engages.
–  Insert electrical connector on tail light until it engages.
–  When installation is complete, check functions of tail light and gap/shut lines to body.
