Removing and installing onboard supply control unitJ519
Removing and installing onboard supply control unit -J519-
  Note
t  The relay carrier on the onboard supply control unit is clipped under the onboard supply control unit and can be removed.
t  If the onboard supply control unit -J519- is to be renewed, the procedure „coding onboard supply control unit“ → Chapter must always be carried out for reading the codes stored in the control unit.
t  The following illustrations show removal on a LHD model. Removal and installation of onboard supply control unit on an RHD model are performed using the corresponding mirror-image procedure.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
–  Remove relay carrier from onboard supply control unit → Chapter.
   
–  Release and disconnect the three connectors.
–  Press both catches -arrows- and swing onboard supply control unit slightly downwards.
–  Pull onboard supply control unit downwards and counter to direction of travel out of holder.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following:
–  Insert onboard supply control unit -J519- with rear into bracket first and then push it upwards until it engages audibly.
