Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1. On models with manual transaxle, remove transaxle, flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc and intermediate plate.
2. On models with automatic transaxle, remove transaxle, torque converter and torque converter driveplate.
3. Pry oil seal out of oil seal flange using a screwdriver, or equivalent.
4. Lubricate new seal, center seal in seal flange and press until fully seated.
5. Reverse procedure to complete installation.
