Installing the adapter sleeve to dimension a will adjust dimension b, between steering wheel hub and steering column switch, to the correct distance.

install ground wire to steering gear
CAUTION Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your Parts Department for latest information.
Note
Vehicles with manual steering must have an additional ground wire on the steering gear for the horn.
^
make one ground wire:
^
1.5 mm, brown
^
approximately 130 mm long
^
use terminals, Part No. 111 971 950
^
remove bolt (arrow A) for shift rod bracket on steering gear
^
use new bolt, M8 x 25 and M8 nut and install ground wire at bracket
CAUTION
Do not install ground wire under bolts for steering gear cover.
^
install second connection of wire to bolt (arrow B) and secure with an additional M8 nut
