Release retaining tabs -arrows- and pull protective cap from Voltage Regulator (VR).
-
Push carbon brushes into voltage regulator housing and insert into generator.

Tighten all fasteners according to values in table.
-
Slide protective cap into guide rails -arrows- until it engages audibly.
