Ribbed belt, for generator and coolant pump

‹› Ribbed belt routing, refer to --> [ Ribbed Belt Routing ] 

‹› Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or a felt tip marker.

‹› Check for wear.

‹› Do not kink.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Ribbed Belt.

‹› Ribbed belt routing, refer to --> [ Ribbed Belt Routing ] 

‹› Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or a felt tip marker.

Crankshaft pulley

‹› To remove and install, secure the crankshaft. Refer to --> [ Crankshaft, Locking ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Block

Assembly/Crankshaft/Service and Repair/Procedures/Crankshaft, Locking.

Bolt

‹› Quantity: 5.

‹› Always replace.

‹› Only use strength category 10.9.

‹› 50 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn.

Bushing

‹› Quantity: 2

Belt tensioner, A/C compressor ribbed belt, 35 Nm

‹› Do not remove the tensioner wheel from the tensioner.

Belt tensioner, generator and coolant pump ribbed belt, 35 Nm

‹› Do not remove the tensioner wheel from the tensioner.

Bolt, 25 Nm

Bolt, 8 Nm

Idler pulley, with bracket

‹› For the generator and coolant pump ribbed belt.

‹› Do not remove the idler pulley wheel from the bracket.

Bolt, 40 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn
