Obtain adhesive 3M(TM) Duramix 4747 Superfast Plastic Repair Adhesive, Adhesive Dispenser 4991 and one Dispenser tip 4909.
^ Apply adhesive on both sides of the flat surface of the switch, where indicated in figures 3 and 4.
^
Immediately install and seat switch into housing (an audible "click" may be heard).

Allow adhesive up to 1 minute to cure.
^
Attach switch to electrical connector and ensure proper switch operation.
^
Install door panel.
