Variable Induction Control Module: Service and Repair

Throttle Valve Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clamps up to 25 mm diameter (3094)

Removing

Damage Warnings/Clean Working Conditions.

Remove the engine cover with air filter. Refer to --> [ Engine Cover with Air Filter ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner
Housing/Service and Repair/Engine Cover with Air Filter.

Remove the intake hose - 4 - between the throttle valve control module and air filter. To do so, disconnect air hose -  1 -, if present, and air hose - 
2 - (compress the securing ring) and remove the spring clamp - 3 -.

Remove the air guide bolts - arrows  - on the lock carrier.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - and bleeder hose - 2 -.
