Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

Insert flange shaft.

Secure flange shaft with countersunk bolt.

If you have removed turbocharger oil return line at engine, re-install it now - arrow - .

-

Install drive axle - 1 - to flange shaft

-

If equipped, install drive axle shield

-

Checking and filling up gear oil --> [ Transmission Oil, Checking and Filling ] See: Fluid - M/T/Service and Repair/Transmission Oil, Checking
and Filling.

Install noise insulation 

Tightening Specifications

Flange shaft to transmission (conical head bolt) --> [ 12 Countersunk bolt, 25 Nm ] See: Differential/Service and Repair/Differential,
Disassembling and Assembling
