Replace lock washers - 3 - and - 4 - after each disassembly.

-

Secure shift cable with lock washer - 3 - and selector cable with lock washer - 4 -.

Cable retainer with plastic relay lever

-

The relay lever and cable retainer must be installed together --> [ Plastic Relay Lever ] See: Plastic Relay Lever

Insert selector cable in cable retainer.

Continued for all selector mechanisms

Align shift housing parallel to body.

‹› Distance to body must be same on both sides.

Install center console. 

-

Boot with shifter knob and noise insulation, removing and installing. --> [ Boot with Shifter Knob and Noise Insulation ] See: Boot with Shifter
Knob and Noise Insulation

 Install heat shield.

-

Install exhaust system free of tension and install tunnel braces

Adjust shift mechanism --> [ Shift Mechanism, Adjusting ] See: Adjustments.

-

If removed, install entire air filter housing

-

Observe work procedures after connecting the battery
