Ignition Coils With Power Output Stage, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Ignition coils and power output stages are one component and cannot be replaced individually.

Recommended special tools and equipment

-

V.A.G 1331 torque wrench (5 to 50 Nm) (vehicles with engine code APH)

-

T40039 puller (vehicles with engine code AWP, AWV, BKF, BNU)

Work procedure:

Work procedure (only vehicles with engine code APH)

Disconnect corresponding 4-pin connector from ignition coils (arrow).

NOTE:  Before disconnecting harness connectors, mark allocation to component.
