1 - Cover (double seat)
q   Removing and installing lock → Chapter
q   Remove centre armrest → Chapter
q   Removing and installing padding clips → Chapter
q   Seat cover is secured to rear wall flange with the sewn-in clamping profile
2 - Padding wire
q   Hooked into padding, attach and detach using awl -V.A.G 1636-
3 - Padding
4 - Backwall (double seat)
q   Self-adhesive trim, pull off protective film prior to assembly, add universal adhesive D 001 200 as necessary
5 - Head restraint
q   To remove, press button on guide and pull out head restraint
6 - Guide
q   To remove, release cover from backwall, press ends of guide together and pull out guide
q   Fitting position on saloon: button on guide must point to right
q   Fitting position on estate: button on guide must point to left
7 - Stop bar
q   Estate only
8 - Spacer block
q   Estate only
q   Secure in backwall with clips
9 - Backwall (single seat)
q   Self-adhesive trim, pull off protective film prior to assembly, add universal adhesive D 001 200 as necessary
10 - Socket head bolt
11 - Adapter
12 - Cover (single seat)
q   Removing and installing lock → Chapter
13 - Socket head bolt
14 - Adapter
15 - Bearing rod
q   For centre armrest
16 - Bracket for armrest
17 - Trim
18 - Box part
q   Note locking lug when removing and installing
