Erasing fault memory, ending output

Prerequisites:

Fault was rectified

Fault memory interrogated again

Erasing fault memory

–	Press → key.

Indicated on display (function selection):

–	Press keys -0- and -5- (the function“Erase fault memory” is entered with 05).

–	Confirm entry with Q key.

–	Press → key.

Fault memory is erased!

t	If this appears in the display, the test sequence is faulty.

t	Adhere strictly to test sequence: first interrogate fault memory, then erase.

–	Press keys -0- and -6- to end output.

–	Switch off ignition.

–	Separate connectors to fault reader -V.A.G 1551-.

–	Switch on ignition.

Airbag warning lamp -K74- must go out after approx. 3 sec.
