Removing and Installing Rear Door Trim

Removing

–	Lever out cover -1- from base of door puller -2-.

Vehicles with electric window regulators

–	Separate connector -1- for rear left or right window regulator switch in door -E52 bzw. E54- and connector -2- for treble speaker (R 14 or 15).

Vehicles with mechanical window regulators

–	Unclip cover in -direction of arrow-.

–	Unscrew bolt -2- with lock washer.

–	Pull off crank.

Note

Installation position with window closed 45 ° ± 12 °.

Continued for all vehicles

–	Remove cross-head screws -1-.

–	Remove cross-head screws -1- and -2- on front and rear edge of door trim.

–	Pull out door trim at top from window aperture -arrow- and then lift out at bottom from retaining brackets.
